Kado no Mise, translating to “Corner Restaurant,” serves Edomae sushi and simple, delicate Japanese fare, true to the tastes and form that Chef Furukawa learned when he first started cooking professionally in his hometown of Tokyo.
We are now accepting reservations for our omakase prix-fixe tasting menu at our second floor chef’s counter and in our second floor dining room Wednesday-Sunday.
We are offering three set omakase menus: “ume” (70/pp), “take” (115/pp), and “matsu” (160/pp). At the counter, only “take” and “matsu” are available. Our seating times are 5:30/5:45 and 8:00/8:15.
Omakase, which translates to “I’ll leave it up to you,” is a dining experience in which you leave your evening in the hands of the sushi chef, who orchestrates a highly-curated sequence of dishes. The omakase experience involves an element of surrender and trust, but that trust is rewarded with a diversity of flavors and the best that our restaurant has to offer.

We are including a 21% service charge on all checks in order to support fair wages for all staff. Pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 177.23, subdivision 9, this charge is not a gratuity for employee service.
Cancellation Policy
Your reservation can be canceled at any time before the time of the reservation should your plans change. However, we request that you do so at least 48 hours in advance so Kado no Mise can plan accordingly. Deposits are refundable up to 48 hours before a reservation.

Please provide advance notice of any notice of allergies or dietary restrictions. Due to the prominent role of soy sauce on our menu, we ask for advanced notice of any gluten-free diners in your party. For any gluten free diners in the party, please indicate whether or not they are able to consume regular soy sauce and items cooked with/seasoned with regular soy sauce. Due to the nature of the cuisine, we are not able to provide vegetarian, vegan, or soy-free menus.
Due to the nature of our restaurant, unfortunately, we can not accommodate requests for the removal of fish from our menu items.
